HUSSEIN CHALAYAN LASER DRESS AT SKIN & BONES EXHIBITION

Skin & Bones – Parallel Practices in Fashion and Architecture, focuses on how art form cross, merge and divide, constantly challenging our understanding of them.

This spectacular exhibition, organised by the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, has travelled to Tokyo before coming to London. Hussein Chalayan’s Laser dress in collaboration with Swarovski, has become part of the London edition of the tour showing at the Embankment Galleries at Somerset House. The exhibition features over 200 works including iconic garments, 3d models and film footage.

Designer Hussein Chalayan has together with Swarovski been creating memorable pieces, known for their innovative use of technology within fashion, since the S/S 07 season. The Laser dress is a great example.
