Custom Crystal TIME 100 Award Created for the World's Most Influential People Including Hillary Clinton, Oprah Winfrey, Brad Pitt and Michael J. Fox
New York, NY, May 9, 2007. For the third year, Swarovski, the world’s leading manufacturer of cut crystal, has created a sparkling crystal object of art for the TIME 100 was awarded last night to some of the World’s Most Influential People in Entertainment, Politics, Business, Art, Science and More. The TIME 100 Swarovski crystal awards are customized with a laser engraved TIME 100 logo and each honorees’ name.
“The multi-faceted Swarovski crystal TIME 100 award reflects the brilliance of the lives and ideas of the world’s most influential people,” explains Nadja Swarovski, Vice President of Swarovski International Communications.
TIME’s 2007 “TIME 100” list, was published on Friday, May 4, 2007, and is available on TIME.com. This year’s recipients included Cate Blanchett, Michael J. Fox, Henry Kissinger, Kanye West, Martha Stewart, Elizabeth and Senator John Edwards, New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer, Nora Ephron, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Lebron James, Ann Coulter, Rosie O’Donnell, Regis Philbin, Elie Weisel, Rachel Ray, Gayle King and more. To celebrate the 2007 list, TIME brought together a select and remarkable group of people and TIME cover subjects, whose thinking and actions have shaped the full range of subjects the magazine covers, at a dinner last night at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City. TIME, the world’s largest weekly news magazine, has a worldwide circulation of 5.4 million and an audience of 31 million readers.
