For Autumn/Winter 2006, Christopher Kane has drawn on his life long passion for the Italian fashion house, Versace to create a fresh take on classic high glamour.
Chris's collection of extraordinary figure hugging lace, fur and Swarovski clothes updated the sexy glamour of 1980's Versace in a brilliant finale of twenty outfits in his favourite palette of flesh, blood red, jet black and deep royal blue.The highlight pieces were undoubtedly the pieces which elegantly involved beautiful Swarovski Mesh.
Chris Kane said of Swarovski's support:
"Swarovski has enabled me to make the collection of a life time. I love the elegant glamour which it adds to my clothes and look forward to future collaborations"
Chris, who finaled the Central Saint Martins MA show held at London Fashion Week also won the highly prestigious Harrods Award for Innovation. His clothes will now take pride of place in one of the main Harrods windows.
