Spring/Summer 08
"Last season I was excited by working with very large crystals which were prominent features on the garments. Exploring new ways of working with Swarovski Crystals, this season I used smaller crystals and pearls to emphasize graphic and bold elements of the collection. One of the inspirations for the Spring Summer 08 collection came from an old book of 1940's illustrations. I treated the Swarovski Crystals as the outlines and pen marks of the drawings. They feature along seam lines, creating sharper edges on tailored pieces and highlighting the outline of the garments. "
