The 3.1 Phillip Lim spring 2008 collection is inspired by the rich tradition and colorful creativity of youthful London in the sixties - an allusion to London bohemia, if you will - through a wry eye. The ‘adventurist’…. in every sense- physical, mental, emotional… including self-expression and self-representation…. the Swarovski crystals play an instrumental role in making the pieces from special to extraordinary. The collection will have grand touches of Swarovski in almost all elements: berets adorned entirely of crystals, hobo satchels with exterior crystal patch pockets, animal print crystal motifs on dresses, and allover floral patterns with touches of crystal.
