GILES
Spring/Summer 07
"Inspiration for the collection is coming from such diverse angles, such as the new Tarantino horror flick 'The Hostel', the costumier Adrian and the use of utilitarian objects in the vein of 'Pop' supreme Andy Warhol.
Using mainly the Swarovski black crystal fabric which looks like caviar, shaped into circular saws, lightning bolts and edged panels on futuristic gowns.
Random cut bead and square cut bead have been sewn onto space lurex crochet, giving the effect of a giant spider spun bubblegum, creating a gown called 'the Faberge"
Giles Deacon
