‘The recognition of the Fashion enterprise award means so much to me and my business. It means as a business we can grow and develop creatively. On behalf of myself and everyone I work with we thank Swarovski and the British Fashion council so much for this honour.’
Nadja Swarovski, Vice President of International Communications says:
‘Swarovski is proud to support the British Fashion Council, and in particular the British Fashion Awards, which form a platform from which the hard work, efforts, creativity and talent of designers are recognized, acknowledged, judged and celebrated. Industry recognition to a young, up and coming designer is crucial, it encourages motivation within the designer and opens doors to him/her for a fruitful future. This is a process Swarovski as a leader in the fashion industry wants to support, while continuously nurturing young talent and celebrating its creativity.’
This year, in recognition of an outstanding career identifying, nurturing and championing British creative talent, the award for Fashion Creator has been created and dedicated to the late Isabella Blow, the Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator was won by artistic director Michael Howells.
Swarovski crystal featured throughout the evening from the sparkling DJ box, to Dita Von Teese‘s Swarovski encrusted Marchesa gown. The ceremony was hosted by Zoe Ball, wearing a gold Christopher Kane Atelier Swarovski bolster necklace.
