PISTOL PANTIES SWIMWEAR SHOWS AT MIAMI FASHION WEEK

Pistol Panties dazzled at the Miami Fashion Week being the first British brand to be invited to the major event. The designs were an array of colour and energy as they were flaunted along the catwalk in style. Designer Deborah Fleming collaborated with Swarovski to create extravagant crystal swimsuits with a few being fully covered crystal.

"For my 2009 Collection, I was inspired by Ancient Egyptian Silhouettes and the Art Deco Era of the 20's. I incorporated this fantasy into this theme “Swarovski crystals on bejewelled Swimwear” with big gemstones particularly on Necklines, bridging two millennia between Ancient Costume and modern beachwear. I was also inspired by colour and the dazzling luminosity of the Swarovski crystals which under the runway lights, really came alive on my Final piece. I loved how the multicoloured crystals on the prints refracted light with such a brilliant effect . It was a breathtaking moment for me..."
