"For Fall 08, I was inspired whilst watching films by french filmmakers Jean-Luc Godard and Francois Truffaut, whose work had a certain free style that was very different and refreshing. I wanted to infuse the spirit of their films into a collection that brings forth a new ease in the brand, while maintaining many couture inspired details that has been in my past collections.I am also collaborating with Mark Walsh with a series of jewellery to compliment the collection using vintage chains paired with blown glass embellishments. In addition, I am embellishing many garments with jet, irregularly shaped Swarovski Crystals to add texture and depth to my collection."
