Working with Sophie Hallette (the French lace maker established in 1887)  and Swarovski (established in 1895), eight sets of students from different creative disciplines designed 8 outfits that focused on the fusion of luxury fashion and young vibrant womenswear; to bring crystal and lace to a young, fashion-aware customer.

The winning team of Danielle Romeril and Rachel Colley (Group 6) were chosen for their outstanding considered, modern and innovative work with the crystal and lace that challenged perceptions of how these materials are used within fashion and jewellery.
