Swarovski and Sharp present 'Swarovski Crystal Aerospace'

Under the motto “Solar Technology Meets Design“, at the Intersolar 2006 Fair, Swarovski and technology company Sharp presented “Swarovski Crystal Aerospace”, the design study of a solar-powered car of the future. This extraordinary symbiosis of Swarovski crystals and Sharp solar cells was designed by renowned British designer Ross Lovegrove. After launching at the Milan Salone del Mobile in April of this year, Swarovski Crystal Aerospace was for the first time being presented in Germany at the Intersolar trade fair in Freiburg.
