LONDON DESIGN FESTIVAL 2007

Swarovski Crystal Palace is delighted to announce its role as headline sponsor of this year’s London Design Festival in London from September 17th - September 25th. As the central hub of the London Design Festival, the Royal Festival Hall will feature a selection of contemporary lighting designs from Swarovski Crystal Palace, the exhibition will be curated by Phillips de Pury. The following pieces will be visible for the public to enjoy throughout the festival period.

TULSA 1 & 2 for Swarovski Crystal Palace by Michael Anastassiades

Swarovski has commissioned leading design journalist Marcus Fairs to make a short film each day during the festival. Fairs will film a video diary showing selected highlights of the festival, interviews and reportage that will show the diversity of design talent on show in the city during the period.

Films will be uploaded daily to www.swarovskisparkles.tv

Marcus Fairs is editor-in-chief of dezeen.com, one of the most highly regarded design news websites in the world. The founder and former editor of Icon magazine, Fairs is also author of Twenty-First Century Design.
