Ron Arad
Ron Arad studied at the Jerusalem Academy of Art and then the Architectural Association in London. As the founder of Ron Arad Associates, he has explored formal and functional possibilities of sheet steel. His work has been featured in design publications and included in major museum exhibitions and public and private collections.
Technological sophistication meets tradition in Lolita. Its familiar spiral shape is comprised of a giant pixel board with 2,100 Swarovski crystals, set with 1,050 white LEDs. Its 31 processors enable the
chandelier to receive text messages and broadcast them along its curving length.
