Studio Job
Graduates of the renowned Design Academy Eindhoven, the Netherlands, Job Smeets and Nynke Tynagel form Studio Job. From the beginning, their collaboration resulted in highly expressive, usually
one-off or limited edition artesian works. Their work has been shown internationally in numerous museums, including the MoMA, New York, and the Victoria & Albert Museum, London.
Statuesque and revolving, Globe is is encrusted with 450,000 Swarovski crystals. With it, Studio Job seek to bring this large world into focus. They thereby honour 17th and 18th Century craftsmen
who dedicated their lives to creating overwhelming treasures and masterpieces. This piece by Studio Job is of equal lasting importance and beauty. ‘Maybe it’s the sense of time and gravity that
