CRYSTAL SKULLS
Fabien Baron
Fabien Baron is one of the leading creative directors of our time. Founder, owner and creative director of Baron & Baron, he has produced award-winning advertising campaigns, cosmetic and
fragrance packaging designs, as well as brand repositioning for international firms. Baron’s art direction for French Vogue, Italian Vogue, Interview, Arena Homme Plus and Harper’s Bazaar has
influenced an entire generation of graphic designers.
Crystal Skull was first launched in 2005 as part of an installation by Baron for Swarovski Crystal Palace entitled Dead or Alive during Art Basel Miami Beach. The aim was to transform and elevate the
perception of the skull. Traditionally the symbol of death and danger, the translucent aura created by fashioning each skull from Swarovski crystals creates a desirable object of beauty. Skulls are sold individually.
